Micro Combined Heat & Power
The WhisperGen® is a micro combined heat and power system, providing both heat and electrical power for an individual household. This advanced product offers significant environmental and economic benefits when compared to conventional systems.

Generating energy at the point of use, it avoids the production of electricity at central power stations. Compared to conventional means, this offers overall savings in CO2 of approximately 1 ton per year per user.

Overall energy utilisation of the WhisperGen® is over 90%. Even the most efficient central power stations waste more than 50% of input energy as heat. The WhisperGen® produces both electricity and heat, and neither is wasted.

By using the WhisperGen® the consumer uses a low value fuel gas to generate high value electric energy. Typically, this reduces overall energy cost to the consumer by around 150-200 € per year per house, depending on individual market conditions.
